CheaperThanDirt still gouging

I always do my part to make sure people do NOT buy from those A-holes and know why!
I was happy shopping with them for years. Then they did away with dead tree media catalogs and began selling/shipping from different warehouses with different prices.
Too much change for an old guy. Haven’t even looked at them for years.

I am not the one splitting hairs. Again, I asked why did the government deem gun dealers to be essential and all of this is the nonsense I got in reply.
Let's say all firearms and ammunition is deemed essential. Should there be different laws for licensed dealers versus citizens? Who decides how much people can sell a used gun for? None of them are the same. Who decides how much I can ask for my own privately owned goods?

They didn't at first, but there were people and groups that lobbied for them. I can't remember if they were deemed such before or after the "peaceful protests", but I'm glad that they were allowed to be opened and to sell.

I love the fact that CTD has product available for people that need it. Good on them. **** you socialist assholes that don't respect the American way of life.
As for being a socialist, can't say I am really. Haven't called for them to give it away or for it to be subsidized in anyway. I wouldn't think of it. I am mostly posting something from an ad I get, because even though I have never bought, and probably never will buy ammo, from CTD I sign up for ads from a lot of different places. I do have to say I was pretty happy to see Mag Monday come back with them for a while.

Never bought a damn thing from CTD. And this is still America so they can price their goods as insanely as they want to. But if they were members here they would have about a dozen negative feedback points. I hope they choke on it.
Neither have I and by the looks of things, I never will buy anything from them. They ain't so cheap.

Whether I have or haven't or the number of times is irrelevant to the point. I have never had to shoot anyone to protect my property but that doesn't mean that it isn't essential that I am prepared for the possibility. I personally have never had to overthrow a tyrannical government but the framers of the constitution wrote the 2nd amendment with that in mind should it ever become necessary.

So guns and ammo are essential because you have delusions of grandeur overthrowing the government, gotcha. I am a strong supporter of the 2A but I also support capitalism and that means the market price of items will fluctuate based on demand. Yes it sucks that right now ammo is hard to find or much higher priced than it was a few months ago but if anyone didnt know that was going to happen with the election drawing closer then you are getting what you deserve. We have enjoyed rock bottom prices the last couple of years in our hobby but now like every election cycle those companies that were selling pretty much at cost are making up some revenue.

Politics and the image it represented for likely voters, nothing less and nothing more.

I’ve said it in another thread, if there was an “actual” lockdown you and other businesses would never be given essential status. Water production and distribution, electrical production and distribution, natural gas utilities and law enforcement would be about the only actual essential workers...think infrastructure support. Pretty much the government entities and anything that directly serve or sustain their function falls under the definition of essential. For us mere peons they would likely shut down even the grocery stores and begin food rationing at multiple sites for control.

This plandemic and random naming of businesses and what not has severely skewed what people think of as essential.

OMG, they are GOUGING!!!

You're calling for the government to step in and tell private businesses what they can sell their goods for. That's pretty ****ing ****ty.
