I am thinking about trying to make my Ruger P85 MKII look a little different and am considering cerakoting the frame and polishing the stainless steel slide.
It is just a "for fun" project so I do not want to spend a fortune. Because the frame is a rough porous surface I even considered a good enamel paint however I do not think it would hold up.
Which coating is better --cerakote or duracote , and is there anyone near Acworth that does either?
The pistol is not the prettiest but it sure is a darn dependable and accurate shooter. I think a nice black frame & new grips with the stainless slide will sweeten it up a bit.
