CDL A pre trip inspection, and road test.

Those cdl schools crank’em out. Pay your money, get a license. If you go on your own to GSP to take your road test, a lot depends on how the exam giver feels. Its easy to forget something and there are a lot of things to check. Some are automatic fails if you miss them.

It all depends on what test he pulls for you to take. There are 3 parts. Pre trip, yard test, road test. You will do all 3 but the maneuvers depends on what they want to give you. Class A holder since 2009

I’m looking for class A cdl drivers! Good luck with the test. A few key things that helped me was ABC abrasions bumps and cuts when explaining tires and DOG dirt oil and grease on steps or handles. Make sure you know the lingo or they will fail you. These people doing the test couldn’t pull a truck out of a parking spot to save their life.
