So, been putting off getting my carry permit.I decided today to book an appointment at the probate court, earliest appointment I could get is in January. Crazy.

Why make an appointment? Here you just walk in.
Cherokee county is by appointment only, I assume it is because of Covid

Down here in the backwoods of Chatham county, I went online and filled out a list of questions.
The Probate court then Emailed me for my ID. Sent the required copies. Next email gives the the info
to print consent form for records check and application for renewal of license. Get signature notarized and send in a money order for $38.00 and in a few weeks they will mail my new permit.
Easy Pesy. No trips to the court house.
