I know of a small Gun store FFL dealer who buys guns at Academy for retail and marks them up $100-200 and puts them on his shelves.

I know one as well. He marks them up more than that. His shotgun mark up over academy is 3x. His Taurus mark up is 100%. He actually got mad at Academy when Academy wanted to stop selling him guns so they could have some for their customers.
