I'd take some calipers and actually see if the endcap is larger than 30 cal. Just because surfire says its 30 doesn't mean it couldn't have been mislabeled or even had the correct baffles installed. I'd really like to see a pic down the tube at the blast baffle. At the end of the day its surefires problem and yeah its gonna be a new tax stamp.
