Fired about 150 rounds total the other day. No mag dumps or anything. Just spent some time at the range shooting at targets at a slow pace. I went to remove my can and it was completely stuck on the mount. The guy at the shop was able to break the rocksett free holding the flash hider / qd mount for the can to remove it. Anyway- we noticed the can now had a slight “bulge” to it near the mount. Anyone seen this happen before? Thoughts? If I send it back to Surefire (and IF they replace it) I’d be looking at a new tax stamp.

So what's the chances this isn't actually a 300 sps and just their 223 can? Only thing I've ever seen cause a bulge that close to the muzzle is 300 blk through a 223 can.

My thought was either a 22 suppressor shooting 22 WMRs OR 223s... In any case, THAT ain't right...
