buffer tube or buttstock

hey guys. I am working on building a ar for my dad as a gift. on my lower the tube is CRT. the butt stock i have is for a milspec tube. anyone out there have a milspec buffer tube laying around, or does anyone have a CRT buttstock laying around that they will trade for a milspec adjustable stock? trying to keep this build cheap(not the products, but the cost).
