broken Colt recurve bow - any idea how to repair?

A good friend of mine gave me a Colt recurve bow with a broken tip. really nice looking bow... but worthless broken. Does anyone have a good way to repair? Is it a throw away?

Heat, Superglue, and sinew will pull it back together, but youre pretty much looking at a wall hanger now

ouch, i would just try doing what stevebob said, and x2 on just a wallhanger now. even repaired, i wouldnt trust it.

Go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy the best two part epoxy they have. Mix and apply and then use all the clamps you have to hold it until it cures.

That is your best bet for a fix, but it may snap when you try to use it... Good Luck
