Just season it with some butt rub, I ve never cooked in crock pot,but I have wrapped real tight in tin foil and put in pan in oven on 225 and cooked about 6-8 hours and it’s great you will know when done when you can pull bone out of Boston butt, I also do the boneless loins the same way.
