Well guess we'll have to make a trip. Only thing is we have to go by BIGUN's and well that means another stop, lol.
Growing up, my favorite summer supper was BLT's with tomatoes from our garden and fresh corn on the cob. Dad always had a ton of tomatoes and he would swap with Scotty who had a good sized sweet corn field. Good eating right there.
Used to go to the Shoney's breakfast bar on Saturday's riding motorcycles, I eat me some serious bacon right there.
NIZE , lettuce, bacon, tomato, and surrounded, by the best PLENTY OF DUKE'S MAYONNAISE, now that's a great sammich, with a tall glass of cold cold milk... You done good DD!!
Naw, they just service that in the drive thru only.

We used to take our sons there on Saturday mornings too, once we took our 2 sons and my oldest son’s buddy, they were about 15 so the youngest would’ve been 13. My oldest and his friend started putting food away like it was their last meals. I had to make em’ stop when they were about 7 1/2 plates into this contest, between me, my sons and a friend we probably ate at least six-six & a half, maybe more lbs of bacon that morning.
Shoney’s always had the crispiest bacon, and I ALWAYS ate too much. Lol!
