43 yards is a stretch for a compound at 62 pounds. Nice shootin man.

Humm... i would never think or say that; you and I must do something totally different
I can hit that target at 60+yds, but limit my shots at Deer to under 35yds
oh I forgot to mention Arrows fly better in Georgia

No doubt. A properly tuned bow will shoot accurately a good ways further than its max effective range for deer.

Spruced up my backup bow a bit. I added some old school camo limb covers and added an alligator skin grip. It’s a 58” Darton Ranger, 54# @ 28”

No doubt. A properly tuned bow will shoot accurately a good ways further than its max effective range for deer.

Things must have changed since I tuned bows for wiley outdoor sports in the 80s and shot 3d competition when I shot 7th in the state of Georgia in the 90s. But what do I know.
