Hey fellow ODT’ers…
I’m not a knife expert, but I like knives. I was hoping you guys could give me any history, education, or tips on this Winchester knife I recently bought an antique market….

Winchester #1 of 1000 (first production run)
Made in USA
Knife and Box are in excellent condition.

Think it’s worth anything?
Thanks in advance!!

Not sure how old, they are still making knives. https://www.knifecenter.com/brand/144/Winchester-Knives

Winchester Knives, USA models are manufactured by Bluegrass Cutlery in Manchester, Ohio on the Kentucky border. Their products include John Primble knives and S&D wooden cases. We feel their products are some of the finest in the world and great examples of American workmanship. These are not the same as other Winchester knives you may see that are made in China!

I'm fortunate enough to have a Winchester made by Bluegrass.
It's NIB Coke bottle jack W15-2921. Beautiful detail and top
notch quality. Don't hold me to it but think it was made '87
which is on a blade tang. Memory is a bit foggy but I'm thinking
Bluegrass had license from Winchester but they had the knives
made by Queen Cutlery's S&M division.
