Black Snake Eats Blue Jay

It was probably one of these black racers (Coluber Constrictor) which frequent shrubs and trees hunting whatever prey they can catch or maybe a black king snake.View attachment 3374483

It may have also been an Indigo snake which is federally protected.

From your photos, it looks like its getting ready to molt and get a new skin.
It’s a Black Rat Snake, Pantherophis obsoletus.
