have t been into archery in 20 years and want to get back into it

What’s the best bow for around 500$ not included sight, release, or any other accessories?

Also, what are the best archery shops in town?

What’s the best deal on the 2018 PSE Ferocity that you have seen? I’m seeing unequipped at $449.

I'm pretty sure that the $499ish price is the minimum advertised price for that bow. Spanky1 is a PSE dealer. He can tell you for sure. In today's bow market with pro line bows costing as much as a used car, that bow is a lot of bow for $500.

I would look for a Hoyt Nitrum 34 or a Hoyt pro defiant 34. I would stay away from 6” braceheight bows and shorter ata if it’s been a while. Bows have come a long way in the past 10 years it’s amazing. I really love the way the Mathews shoot but the grip for me is no bueno. Check out acherytalk.com there is a wealth of knowledge/opinions over there as well as some deals to be had.
