just traded for this and was told it shot and functioned flawlessly butt when i get home it will not sent shell from mag tube to chamber anyone know what could be the problem and about what it will cost to fix. have tried to contact the one i traded with but no response yet any help out there i know the gun was man. in 1974 and pretty sure its the skeet mod.

Check the operation of the carrier latch, and breech bolt latch. If these are sticking they can cause the shell not to progress from the feeding tube.
i might be a dummy when it comes to this gun but i dont think so have shot shotguns all my life. but when i put a shell in the mag tube and pull the bolt back the shell does not drop out to the carrier i have not had this older mod benelli befor but have a m1 super90 and a m-2 does anyone know about this mod. thanks shrek everything seems to be moving but cant tell how the internals are supposed to work
