Benchmade vs microtech

Applying to much oil will render a microtech useless. I've had two different microtech not fire from "normal lint" and a combat troodon fail from too much oil. These are both well documented problems.

Check your boxes, you might have bought some "Mr. Stabbys" (no offense chucklenut chucklenut :)) instead of MT's.
I have a few & I have NEVER had an issue...

They were authentic, had them worked on by MT. I enjoyed my microtech's don't get me wrong, just less to go wrong on a high quality folder. If I found a good deal I'd buy another in a heart beat. I just personally don't enjoy carrying one for the reasons stated earlier.

Haha lol mine don’t come with boxes

Plus I believe mine superior to microtechs since mine only cost 1/10 of what the real ones do :)

(That statement outa bunch some panties)

Microtech IMO makes a better OTF that Benchmade does....this doesn't count the BM autocrat since it's new. So for OTF I would recommend going the MT route. The Dark Angel series from Protech is also a good alternative if you don't mind a manual retract.

I have 4 MT OTF and had 2 BM OTF which I both sold.
