Try an Instant Pot or type electric pressure cooker sometime. Fast and turns out perfectly. Still got to sort, soak, and rinse.

This^^ Sort, soak, & rinse . All i got to add is an old family "secret" = add a little (1/4 tea spoon) of baking soda after beans get up to temp. It doesn't effect the flavor one bit and helps with the gas issue . Luv me sum beans
