Dave Poe's was good the last time I was there. Mac and cheese is really good. There's a history there with Sam's BBQ if you've been there, same mac and cheese.

Dave Poe's is good. Up Dallas Hwy. towards The Avenues, Major Q is good, too.

Heirloom BBQ is, in my opinion, the best BBQ in that general area. The downside is it's a hole in the wall, the parking sucks, and you have to get it to go...but other than that, LOL, the food is legit!

Dave Poe's is excellent. Everything is good, but I generally get the brisket.

The ribs are good. I didn't care for the brisket or pulled pork as much as some other places in the area.

It's been a few years, but it was excellent the last time I tried it. Definitely worth an extra long drive, which it was for me at the time.
