Baked beans with smoked sausage

We have been fixing these for a while now and really like them so I thought I would share the recipe with y’all.

I use more bacon (of course!) 4-6 slices of thick sliced and add a bit of liquid smoke while it simmers.
Thick, savory and hearty with a bit of sweetness. Enjoy!

You’re welcome, the recipe calls this a side dish but it’s so thick and hearty that the wife and I like it as a meal by itself. Had it for lunch today with some garlic knots!

Yep but I use some smoked pork diced up instead of the sausage, other than that the only thing different is, I use Sweet Baby Rays...All Baked beans in a cans, have got to have added ingredients. Personal tastes is imperative and must be done!! It all about love.. Those sound Great!
