Bad Days and Worse Days . . .

Probably not the engineer`s fault. I`m not a railroad man, but I was told once that the trains are put together in the yard. An engineer couples to what they tell him to. He can`t see the whole train. Everything is computerized, but I will guess that a human put the wrong cars on the wrong train to go under the wrong bridge.
 
My question is, Look at the first 3 seconds of the video. Before the crumpled roof hits the bridge.
The train car roof is already pealed back. Had to stop the train and back up then go forward some more to peal back a lot more roof.

From what I can see and tell in the limited video. It appears as though some track work may have recently been done. If work was recently done on the track at that location then the foreman that supervised is done. If no work was done then the track inspector is done. Yes the crew may get a vacation for it, but they will be back.
