My recently purchased Hults Bruk small 1 1/2 pound,24" handled Akka Foresters axe gets the nod.Hard to find but ohhh so worth it.Hand made in Sweden.For 1000s of yrs. the axe has been with mankind.With an axe man was able to traverse wilderness,construct shelter,offer defense and butcher game.The axe is and always was a survival tool,offering freedom and independence to defend himself and prosper.
