Last time I let my car radio scan the AM band (near Atlanta) I coulda swore I musta been in Juarez...

I was on the AM band last weekend searching and came across a channel that was nothing but Japanese. I immediately flashed back thinking what would all our service men and women thought fighting the war would be told someday in the future you will turn on an radio in the United States of America and hear a channel with nothing but Japanese words coming out.. I know things have changed but it just hit me in a weird way just saying....

The only way that I ever saw the logo plate was upside down.
That was the way is was displayed in the 80's anyway.

EVERY Friday evening I play the 96Rock 5 O’clock whistle!!!!
Annoys the hell outta my wife!!!!!

Yea ."FIIIIIIIIIIIDAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!"

That meant Crack the 4th Beer as 4.20 started at 'Wake & Bake " .

They still play that 5 o clock whistle , it just sounds a tad different .

I was gonna mention that but I was only on page 2 before I posted , when I get up Cartersville way I seem to notice more 96/69 rock plates ?? Go figure.

I can handle the Mexi Music but prefer the 'Out there ' Preachers I used to hear on AM or Late night broadcasts from Chicago , New Orleans or NY .
