****Atlanta Falcons**** And The NFL In General

With the Falcons signing a DE and RB in free agency, it looks like they won't go for either of those positions early in the draft. Any RB drafted at all is going to create a logjam. I'm guessing first three picks are defensive players, specifically CB, DT, LB. If there's a surprise pick early, I am going to guess they grab up a center with the idea he might be ready to play after sitting on the bench one season with Alex Mack slated to be a free agent following 2020. Draft thoughts?

Wonder what that would cost us? We need all the picks we can get this year.

Probably cost quite a bit. Without adding a starting-caliber CB, it looks like the season will start with Sheffield and Oliver on the outside, Kazee in the slot. (Jordan Miller is suspended the first three games.) I guess it depends how confident the staff is on that combination working whether or not trading up is worth it. Also read they could trade up for another position. Whatever scenario, a lot of trading up talk.
