I remember the instance but can't remember the member. I didn't hear about the second half but the first part was noteworthy at the time. There is a guy here locally who got almost the same visit from the ATF and they gave him the same letter almost verbatim, they already had it filled out with his name and address and
"Cease and desist" ..
Almost the exact same as the guy in the video.
So the guy here locally, seemed to take it seriously for a few months because no one saw him at the gun shops and gun shows we all frequent..
But then he just returned to the same activity buying guns from gun stores and off gunbroker and having then shipped to the gunshop and filing the paperwork..over and over again and again.
Then
Setting up at fleamarkets and selling them off his tailgate or Facebook or Craigslist or off of forums and websites similar to this one.
One day the ATF rolled on his house with 4 black Chevy suburbans and raided the place.
Carried EVERY single gun he owned out the door and into the suburbans and arrested him.
Last I heard he had bankrupt himself trying to fight the federal charges and lost his job and wife.
So even if he wins (doubtful).. but even if he wins he has lost EVERYTHING BIGTIME!!
Good thing ammo isn't a part of that or would be seeing cease and desist letter rants pop up for half of odt
I also have to say it- if you heard any of those firearms he mentioned and said to yourself
" that is a good gun"
I am begging you to improve your taste and actually shoot your ****.
Having watched all of both videos, it looks like he does not sell many. Look how many he has to show during the video. Looks like he keeps most of them. If he wants to collect Saturday night specials, that`s his business. Just like the guy on here that collects watches.Fishy for sure. Buying all those cheap guns and reselling at gun shows is just asking for trouble. I didn't buy the collector talk. You know he's turning a profit just like you covid price gougers on here. Yes I had to sneak that rant in there.

Several things make me question the veracity of his whole "situation."
1. WHY did they want to meet him at the local sheriff's office?
2. He said they DIDN'T provide him a written copy.
3. He also said they were going to email him a copy.
4. If they wanted him to acknowledge with his signature, HOW was that to be done without a written copy?
Having worked for a Federal agency/administration for over 30 years, NO OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE is done without a written copy, especially if they wanted him to acknowledge an official document. And the Federal government does NOT use emails for "cease & desist" order notification.
