AT&T fixed wireless internet?

"Fixed wireless" is a generic term for anything that's not wired or optical on fiber, it's not a standard. It can be anything from a commercial MiFi devices that uses the cell network to unlicensed band "WiFi" and even licensed band "WiFi". And that all can be from the same vendor. You have to figure out exactly what they're marketing as "Fixed wireless".
 
He had some guy hook it up, got one in every house. This is inside the house, as in where the chickens are lol


Yeah our guys put a ton of them in. They are a decent access point that comes in around 100 bucks with no licensing costs.

They aren’t Ruckus or Xirrus but for the price there isn’t much that competes.

Fixed wireless is not satellite. I’m pushing 10G a half mile in Atlanta and it has not dropped connection once In 18 months.


It’s a point to point wireless connection.

I am tracking. Post I was responding to, he's not sure what he has.

Appreciate you input. I'm leaning toward trying it.
