Are gun shows worth going to now?

That's exactly what we need:

Daisy BB gun in the carbine role.

A single shot Crosman BB / dart pistol, that looks like a 1911,
for the handgun stage.

And instead of a shotgun, our "third gun" is a scoped
break-barrel adult airgun, shooting at some small target at 20-30 yards.

You better not be planning on hitting anything beyond 5ft with that '1911'. Absolutely no barrel. Doesn't matter if you're using bbs, pellets, or darts. (Yes I have one.)

I have not been to a gun show in over twenty years. I am primarily interested in "Walnut and Steel" type guns. Is there enough of that at today's gun shows to make it worth my while or is it mostly black guns and prepper stuff now? Thanks

Just depends on the show. Larger shows tend to have more 'private' dealers selling one-offs and collector worthy guns. Even at smaller shows, there are sellers with older firearms.

Prepper stuff, beef jerky and stun guns are readily available at all gun shows. :) If nothing else, the people watching can be worth the price of admission.
