We use to always core and peel the apples if not it makes it bitter. That was for real stuff though. Don't believe it bit into several seeds.

I'm right there with ya.
Cooking some up right now. This is the 4th batch. I always seem to change it up a little. This time I went with 10 apples, 2 cups of brown sugar, 2 extra cinnamon sticks and 2qts additional water. I also plan on adding an extra cup or so of the everclear.
