I am making some flint knapping tools for flintlock muzzleloaders. About 20 years ago I had a local machine shop make small brass hammer heads and turn some 1/4" steel rod to make handles and the actual knapping tool. Here is a picture of what the tool set looks like:

The knapping tool has a .010" shoulder turned on the bottom. I tried to make some new tools by chucking the rod in a drill press and going at it with a file, but it takes forever and shoulder isn't as clean as I would like it to be.

I would like to find someone in NE Georgia who can help me turn these shoulders on a lathe and thread the end of the hammer handle (1/4 x 20 threads). Willing to trade some components in exchange for the labor. I only need 5 sets (hammer handle and knapping rod) as that is all the hammer heads I have left.

Thanks!
