Anyone have a 458 SOCOM or 50 Beowulf that has advise before I get one?

what barrel length? kinda want a shorty upper...dies, brass, pills...

Original designer recommends a 16" barrel.

I have Tromix 16” and 10.5” 458 uppers. It hits like a freight train! I reload for it and have brass from starline and Wilson Combat. Lancer mags work perfectly for both. Absolutely devastating on hogs. The pistol upper is freakin rediculous!! In a good way!!

I chose 450 BM so I could use cheaper and more common 45 bullets.
