Anyone feeling the need to put up food more the usual?

Made me stop and pause the other day when I realised I'd let my dogs food stash dwindle down to around two months supply. Most important member of the family.

I struggle with this. Not sure how to store their food without it going bad. I'm afraid moisture might get into the bag over a period of extended storage.

Use mylar bags and oxygen absorbers. Get a food storage system. A vacume sealer is the tops. We use a combo of a few different types.
We have a sealer along with the accessories that vacume seals jars for dry goods as well as wet. Use bags and O2 absorbers.
Oxygen is your enemy ... then temp and humidity.

Either go on some prepping sites and pick up some tips or go to True Prep...cobb pkwy . They will hook you up .

I don't know why, but I have kind of been going overtime on stocking on store able foods. And other needed supplies.

Anyone else doing more then normal?
I'm saving two 45cal bullets.Don't want to live in a totally **** up world.
