So there’s no service for some of my equipment. Bought oil and filter like days of yore. after a triple crown royal knocked it out quickly. Checked the air filter and found a K&N air filter. Dirty and no recharge kit. Tapped loose dirt out. Shop vacuumed the rest. Then sprayed with surfactant and let set. Washed out with powerful water stream then let dry. Sprayed with fogging oil and replaced. Damn it looked good and crystal clean. Time for another cocktail as it’s Friday. Did I **** up? Or am I field expedient? And just got the invite for ribs from a bro close by. Love y’all!

As was mentioned just a little oil is enough. Got two of them and spray just a little oil and walk away from it for 30 minutes. The filter material will slowly absorb the oil and it will spread out. I recheck it and usually I don't add any more. Haven't had an issue with the senors by doing the oiling this way.
