Anyone climb Mt Kilimanjaro? In December?

I did 12,000 foot peaks in colorado, but that was several years ago when I was a teenager.
Could not imagine doing it now in my 40's.
Good luck to your daughter. Now is the time to do it before she gets older, married, kids, career, etc.

Have sourced and or bought a pack, stuff and dry bags, sleeping pad, rain gear, and water. Next need is a 0 to -15 sleeping bag. We have access to a Kelty 0 degree but want to know if anyone has a better one.

My research shows a big difference in quality 0 degree and the others. Anyone have a $750 - 15 bag laying around?

All I know about Kilimanjaro is that it rises like an empress above the Serengeti. Hope she has a safe trip, bless her for sharing the Gospel.
