Anybody work outside?

My very first job in electrical contracting was hand digging a ditch under a sidewalk.
I don't work outside anymore. But when I was stripping plastic off new Hyundais and Kias at the port I had to wear one of them boonie hats with the mesh vents in the sides. It was miserable. I've tried to wear hats but I just can't do it. I actually didn't mind the job. We rode all over the Brunswick port and would see huge turtles gaters and all kinds of birds.
For the last two years I've worked at a T shirt printing shop standing beside what looks a lot like a pizza oven with a conveyor belt under it. You have to get that printing ink to at least 670 degrees or it will never dry. Seriously there's a few dozen buckets of ink that have been open on shelves for years but still good to go. But anyway...it's hotter work than I was doing before. Oh and no hat required. If I had to wear one more thing I would quit.

Built barriers, guardrails, and fences for years, now I sit behind a steering wheel of a semi. no suntan line, and the only six pack I have now is the one I buy on Fridays.
