I have a weird round my dad found at an estate sale. Has a 219 Zipper head stamp with a .17 caliber bullet. Measurements are:
Bullet: .171
Neck: .200
Shoulder: .403
Base: .418
Rim: .489
Case Length: 1.699
C.O.A.L: 2.080

Its a weird one for sure. Only thing i found was a 17 super pee wee but the case length and coal seem off.

That's interesting because the .219 zipper is already a wildcat. So somebody necked down a .219 into a .17 bullet. Smoooooooookin' I bet.

I can't find anything about a caliber for that. Wonder if somebody just made it "because?"

View attachment 3467201I was trying to research for you and found this. Have no idea if it’s even real but if it is it’d have to be SCREAMING.

edit: still not sure it is real, it’s a 17 caliber bullet necked down in a .50 BMG case. Almost 6k FPS. I want it:shocked:
