Any TH350 transmission experts on here?

My 1972 Camaro doesn't get driven regularly. When it sits for a few days, the fluid in the torque converter drains into the transmission and raises the fluid level to the point that it overflows from the vent on top of the case. Other than driving it every day, what's the fix? I'm assuming that the trans will have to come out and I'm not going to do that myself.
I think it's overfilled. The torque converter could only drain back half of whatever it holds and the pan would be able to hold that much. I haven't in a long time but I used to fix TH350s
