Any snake keepers/handlers here?

My son had a Few snakes when he moved out , he said dad there yours. They came with a Handmade cage made by a professional from Florida. I was thanks, gave 1 to his friend, the other went to a ODT- OG ,guy. The snake was named SPIKE! it was my 1st action on ODT, cost FREE!

Several years ago I had two 16 foot retics, 8 foot retic, 8 foot African Rock python, 5 foot Nile monitor and Several other breeds. Enjoyed them, but feeding them was very expensive at the time.
Nile monitor was a demon. Nailed twice by the female 16 foot retic and lost about a pint of blood. Have fun
5' Monitor? Ouch.....

I've got a pied BP, sand boas, rosy boas, several garter snakes, and a bearded dragon. Would love a dwarf retic, or a suriname/ guyana BC, but don't have the space for anything that large at the moment.
Do you breed your garters? Ive been looking for one for the wife ever since hers passed.

I didn't intentionally breed them, but woke up yesterday with a bunch of slugs and 2 live babies. " I originally bought 2 Northern Garters from UG reptiles a few months back and kept them together, so one thing led to another". Once I get them eating, I have no problem getting rid of them.

I’ve got a few retics a burm and a blood.

I got rid of most of my stuff…. I had a nice red tail boa… a bearded dragon…water dragon and a mexican red leg tarantula.
The spider was cool. He would molt once or twice a year. When they are done shedding the skins, they are cool looking. The skins look just like the live spider except for the ‘butt’... lol. I would set them on a house plant and it would scare folks when they saw it ! They thought he got out of his cage

Over the years I've had a Green Anaconda, at least a dozen Burmese pythons, Surinam Redtail Boas, Various rattlesnakes, an albino cobra, one ball python, a nile monitor, 3 asian water monitors, 2 timor monitors, a couple of red ackies, Frilled dragons, bearded dragons, Green tree python and emerald tree boa. And one Eyelash Viper. I got out of the Herp business 20+ years ago though and haven't looked back.

The eyelash Viper was my all time favorite.
