Course would be 10-11 hours in length, on a single Saturday.
We would do live-fire training for approximately 7-8 hours. Live-fire subjects will include, but will not be limited to:
-Drawing
-Grip, to include strong-side thumb placement for safety use
-Ready positions
-Reloads
-Shooting while moving
-Use of strong- and support-side cover
-Immediate and remedial malfunction clearances
At the end of the day, we will go to the classroom and cover such Armorer’s topics as:
-Complete disassembly and reassembly
-Lubing and maintenance, to include inspecting parts for wear or replacement
-Modifications/improvements to include sights, trigger, grip safeties, thumb safeties, slide releases, magazine wells, extractors, ejectors, firing pins, grip texturing, and more
-Function checks
Cost would be $300 and the course would be in Powder Springs GA.
Date would be this fall, possibly late September.
