Any idea how old this box of ammo is?

Being somewhat of a cartridge collector myself, I have found that most any 'vintage' ammo/boxes have some collector value.
Out there is some guy that has his heart set on finding every Norma ammo box from the time they set into production.
The issue is finding that guy...

I’m not altogether certain that would be a definite means of "dating" the a box of ammo....this box with spent casings is in a duffle bag my dad had with gun cleaning materials and supplies....I am reasonably sure he never bought another box of 30.06 ammo after we moved to Florida in 1955.... he hunted when we lived in Michigan in the 40s and early 50s with an 8mm Mauser and the 30.06 was my moms gun...

There's nothing better than getting paid to look out the window....

I've sold a couple dozen empty ammo boxes on ebay. they've fetched anywhere from $10 - $35 a piece or per lot. The most recent sold Norma ammo boxes I see include a .308 match that went for $28; if I were selling your 3006 box I'd probably slap it up for $29.99 free shipping and see how it goes, even though one guy has a box up for $15 plus shipping and another has one up for $4 plus shipping.

I have some REAL 10mm in that box, so mid to late 1980s.

Had some 7mm Mauser from an earlier date.

I agree some ammo makers could have been putting the warning on the ammo before there was a mandate
