I got a MS250 i rebuilt with a new case and guts that my buddy fried, if you drill out the muffler with a step bit it runs a LOT better.
The big boy is a MS 038 Super Magnum with a 24" bar. its a bitch to crank but once its going it sounds like a 250 2 smoke bike idling.

I just read that your 500 has fuel injection. Is it much easier to start? Keeping carbs adjusted seems to be biggest maintenance problem for chainsaws. Fuel injection seems a simpler solution.

I don’t think I’ve ever had to pull it more than 3 times. And the throttle response is instant. I hope more models get FI in the future.
