Still getting regular pictures of my “hit list” buck. I think by the time he sheds velvet he’ll be every bit of a 150” main frame 8 point.

He’s 3 1/2 best I can tell and I’m a pretty good judge. Ideally yes 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 is peak maturity but I’m not keeping them so well fed to let it walk and get shot the next property over by someone else.

Needs a year or 2 is the running joke between all hunters. That buck is solid. I'm guessing 5.5. I would in a minute.
