Any Bobcat Mechanics out there?

Do we have any Bobcat mechanics out there in ODT land?
Shady tree (like me) mechanics are welcome, but Pros prefered.

I've got an old '91 763 with the Kubota V2203-E diesel engine, about 2330 hrs. She has started blowing lots of smoke & even more oil out of the top of the valve cover where a PCV valve would be on a gas engine. Seems to be getting progressively worse.
Any ideeerrs - what has happened?

From a friend that is a good ole farm mechanic in South Dakota:

Blown head gasket or cracked head. V2203s are notorious for it.

If he runs it very long like that he’ll be buying an engine.

Sounds good, I can help you or talk you through it. Start with a compression check and write down the pressure for each cylinder, 2 times or more if the reading aren't close
