I've got a bunch of silver coins that I would like to sell and some sterlingdinnerware etc. What's the best way to go about doing this and how is it priced? Melt value, spot etc...any advice is appreciated.

My experience as everyday layman showed me that precious metals that I had to sell (i.e., rings, jewelry, etc.) was just the base metal today-price of the melt value plus the buyer's fee... For the silver coins, etc.? I took what I had and gave it to my son and gonna let HIM figure all that stuff out... :0)

If the coins are common you can figure out a rough value on coinflation. Silver Dollar pawn on Alpharetta hwy. may be able to handle your silver stuff and not be too far from you. He has been fair when I bought from him.
