Ammo Shortage almost over?

This time next year we should see prices back around 2019 levels. Maybe even see dome being discounted.
If you think back to the 2013 shortage it took about 2 years to get back to where prices were before Sandy Hook.
Of course that's assuming the politicians don't cause another run on it by doing something stupid.

I agree, only if there is a serious crash of the economy. If it’s still thumping and we get trillions more in federal stimulus, stuffs going to be high high and not just Ammo.
My guess is you will see a serious gun control push this Fall, since they've been leading up to it all year. That could increase ammo sales again depending on what they try and push through.
One of their proposals was to ban ammo sales except to FFLs, or at least get rid of mail order ammo. If that looks like it's getting traction (or even just a bunch of publicity) you will definitely see ammo sales spike again.
I doubt you will see any real gun control pushes after the end of the year though... too close to elections and they are already rickety in Congress without pushing 'moderate' Dems into having to support gun control in an election year.
That's almost always the pattern... Push gun control the year after the elections so the voters can forget about it in the following year or so until the next election.
If that stays true we should see normal markets coming back into play later this year, and start seeing prices drop to historical levels by Spring or Summer.

Are you forgetting that next year is an election year? 2015 wasn't.

Election years are typically the only time you don't see gun control getting pushed through... They make the real push after the election so people have a year to forget who tried to do what.
