Well its a channel with a 6061 block to back it so really I'm looking for someone who can weld a 7075 sheet to a 6061 block.
They alloy does have a brand name which I do not know, the forgings were produced overseas for Artillerie-Inrichtingen, the Dutch national armory, I have been told that for all intent and purpose it is 7075.
This part is unobtainium, it is not any kind of AR15.

That's not even close to the same thing he's asking to have welded.Go to a car performance shop. They weld aluminum for intakes and turbo piping all the time.
