Aluminum welder sought

Well its a channel with a 6061 block to back it so really I'm looking for someone who can weld a 7075 sheet to a 6061 block.


There's a reason everyone is saying the same thing.

Can you melt 7075 into 6061? Sure.

Would any real welder stand behind that work? Absolutely not.
 
They alloy does have a brand name which I do not know, the forgings were produced overseas for Artillerie-Inrichtingen, the Dutch national armory, I have been told that for all intent and purpose it is 7075.

This part is unobtainium, it is not any kind of AR15.

Is this a Dutch AR10?

As others have said, welding aluminum can be tricky even a same alloy on both parts that is 100% known. Everything has to be perfect (including the wire chosen) if you want something more than a piece of dull Aluminum brittle. It will not be cheap if you want a safe and functioning firearm You've had an offer to look at it. I'd take them up on it.
