Hi! I'm a Magpul whore! I have all things Magpul! If you're on Instagram, checkout @Magpul_Buff.
I have, I would say, the largest collection of Magpul stuff. I'm always looking for the rare and unusual. The majority of my collection is PMAG's that are New In Wrapper.

Before I go any further... be prepared to get sucked down the worm hole that is Magpul!

What's the big deal with New In Wrapper PMAG's, you ask.
Well, out of the wrapper a PMAG is just a PMAG. But the PMAG has a story to tell in the wrapper. I've learned a lot about Magpul and their Pro 2A Stance. As you will see through some of the pics posted, they do tell a story in their wrapper.

This post is to show off some of Magpul and answer any Magpul questions.

Where did Magpul start? 1999 with the little thing called the magpul/magpull/mag-pull.
MAG001 - 5.56 magpuls
In the early days of the magpul they started out with black. Created FDE, ODG and Foliage. They then started playing with some different colors for Range Safety. Quality control was not a big deal at the time, with such a small company. So, they tended to go balls to the wall experimenting with colors, creating swirled colors.

Here are the Range Safety Magpuls.

MAG002 was their 2nd product, magpuls for 7.62.

MAG003 was their 3rd, magpuls for subguns 9mm/45acp

Here some of the wild colors:

Next up was other items to improve the USGI Mag. Ranger Plates / L-Plates (Lumpy) / Anti-tilt followers.

With all these items for the USGI Mags, Magpul thought the mag still needed a little something extra. So, the came up with putting in a window on the mag... Magpul Maglevel Mag was born!

The Magpul Maglevel Mag didn't last long, due to issues with the windows popping out and they were a pain installing to begin with. That and they were in development of a polymer to use a magazine, we shall call it Polymer Mag (PMAG).
PMAG drops in 2007, the earliest of PMAG's have "Restricted Law Enforcement and Government Use Only"

I've had these things laying around in my "want to do something with" pile for probably near a decade. Had plans to put them on some metal mags I had, but got a great deal on some 20 round Stoner mags and some other new USGI 30 round mags...
