AK smiths: RPK Failing to go into battery

It almost sounds like the inside carrier rails are bent downward.

Take the bolt out of the carrier and hand cycle it.

i bought it new, it hand cycles fine. 1 thing of interest is the bottom locking tab of the gas tube looks funny, like some material is missing; its not square. pics tomorrow.

Try hand cycling without gas tube and recoil spring, slowly

Bring it to me, as the only licensed AK gunsmith in GA with a Federal class 2 manufacturing FFL, I can tell you what it needs after inspecting it.

I'm positive I can fix it or tell you what it needs.
