9mm, .357, and .38 are all the same caliber

Upon checking my new Optimus is rated for .357. Are you saying the .357 won't fit through the 9mm endcap?
I don't have a host for .357.

Jump on gunbroker, get a lever gun and have the barrel threaded. easy peasey.

Get one with a side loading gate, not a end of tube loader.

I thought they used .45, there was a USP that had an automatic slide lock on every shot because the action was louder than the bullet.

Maybe off topic? This has always been my thinking . If 1000fps is the "there there" why not .45 or 10mm? Both have FINE offerings in subSonic . Been dreaming about an SBR in 458socom and quiet (CMMG preferably) for a long time.

I always thought .45 was the best. Not from personal experience, just research.

Big + slow = quiet, make squishy target fall down
Small + fast = loud crack, for make hole in armor
