Another attribute, actually a couple of them since they are related somewhat:

- Restriction of certain types of firearms by functional requirements would be limited to "fully automatic" versus falling short of "fully automatic"
- Fully automatic is the ability to fire multiple bullets with one single movement of the trigger (this would allow binary as well)
- Aside from the prohibition of fully automatic firearms no further restrictions shall exist
- Card holders in good standing for two or more renewal periods (meaning 10 or more years) shall have the ability to purchase, possess and use "fully automatic" firearms with no further background checks or delays

And for the record I did NOT come from New Jorsey or New York. I came from California and left there because it's pure socialist insanity out there. That is actually part of the reason for the proposal, to halt leftist S-hole states from being able to screw with firearms owners at will!

This would obsolete most of the idiotic gun control laws in California with respect to simple ownership and concealed carry. It wouldn't do anything however to address their backwards functional restrictions. One more attribute coming to address that.

This is how most of these things start though. They get implemented then they don't work so they start tightening down on them till it's gone ot there's so much red tape it isn't worth ours or the guberments time.

Even in this post you've added 3 more attributes, and we're not law makers. These things only work if criminals obey the laws set in place.

In a perfect world/country these things would benefit the owner of the firearm. If it were ever stolen and was recovered you would know who it needs to go back to, and if it were that simple i would be all for it. The problem arises that when all guns a counted and accounted for when they want to change a policy because of "the kids" they know right where to go. The biggest issue is that those that govern have become unreliable at best, regardless of affiliation. The more power they have the more they can take.

There already ARE national standards that override CA's laws. It's called the 2nd Amendment. The problem is, the nutjob politicians of that state, and some others, are violating everyone's rights.

How??? They've already dug their heals in to deep to change now. All they try to do is change policies to make them work.
I'm not trying to be a dick to you but this is where the problems start to arise with people that do what you have done. You saw the policies not work in another area and the overall damage that they have caused. So you leave to an area that is doing fine. Now you are planting seeds of what if we try it like this.
