Not even an offer, I was gonna pay asking price and I got nothing in return.

If you offered to pay an asking price that was a great deal and you received no reply, you were likely outbid. (Been said above)

Or...there could be any number of reasons why you didn't get the item but to your point (and I agree), a reply is courteous. I am guilt of not replying to trade offers when I'm looking to sell.

Maybe your bid wasnt high enough....i feel your pain though...alot of that going now...i feel this has become an auction site..its just going to get worse
